At a little over $100 I found this rug to be a very good bargain. Mine arrived also just wrapped in plastic, but it was all intact and clean. The rug was in good shape and did not require any cleaning or repair. I added a nice pad underneath and am very pleased with my purchase. I've added a photo of the actual rug to help with visualizing.

paid a premium price for a rug that showed up filthy...had to spend an additional $50 to get it cleaned in time for a dinner party...company accepted no blame even though it was wrapped in one piece of plastic that came off in shipping...company tried to bribe me to remove review with $20..never again will i do business with this co.
