Sleek in its simplicity but cozy in its weave, the Shag Starch Tan Woven Rug infuses any room with instant panache. Durable, stain-resistant olefin is cottony soft, and the mini-shag of this neutral area rug makes it funky and fun. Smaller rug sizes (21x34, 21x60, 30x50) feature a washable rubber backing to keep rugs in place, while larger sizes (60x96, 96x120) boast an "action back" to help rugs lay flat. Olefin. Spot clean with mild detergent or professionally clean. Made in USA.
DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Reviewed by Happy Mom, 2009-11-01
This rug is junk!! I received it well past the day that it was suppose to be here and almost cried when I saw it. It was nothing like the picture and looked like a $30 area rug from Walmart. I rolled it right back up and planned on sending it back, since the company makes it sound so easy to do if you aren't satisfied. Well I go to ship it back and find out its going to cost $200 to ship. That's what I paid for it and the selling company doesn't reimburse shipping if you aren't happy with it. They also say it has to be shipped back in its original packaging. Try getting that rolled back up and the shrink wrapped plastic back around it. Not happening! So now its in my basement for the kids to play on. I went to Lowe's and got a really nice 8x10 shag rug that I love. It's called four squares and was only $168. Some things you just shouldn't buy online. This is definitely one of them. Don't do it!!!
great shag priceReviewed by Lyn Douglas, 2009-07-14
This is a very nice rug, I thought for that low price, it would be rough, but it is very soft, feels great under bare feet and is a very nice color, sort of a golden tan. This rug seems to be made well, so I'm hopeful it will last a long time.
A StealReviewed by Dr. Bleeckman, 2009-06-01
Pros: great neutral shade, very dense, mega-soft, tightly twisted, low-profile shag, naptime-worthy, a minimum of 50 percent cheaper than anything comparable, preferable to wool. Cons: a little shipping confusion, the future is uncertain for durability based on traffic (a few nice years rather than a good decade like with some), cleaning questions. Side notes: not the rug I saw a Target but so much better, has a slight synthetic smell (not odor) but it's comforting in that childhood sleepover way, looks like standard carpeting but then you sink into it's comfy pile, definitely more camel than beige as suggested but I risked it due to the price and positive reviews and could not be happier.
Love it.Reviewed by Rebecca R. Wright, 2009-03-21
This rug is plush and beautiful. It's excactly what I was looking
for. I needed it for my daughter's room since it has hard wood
floors I wanted something really thick and soft for her to play on.
This is perfect.
First the company sent me a tan colored one, but I was able to
easily exchange it for the off-white color that is pictured. Some
reviews say the tan color felt more plush, but to me they were both
exactly the same except, of course, for the color.
Light Sandy Beige in ColorReviewed by Holly 77, 2008-12-27
My husband bought this for me off my wish list for Christmas. We are both very happy with how it looks in the den. I was worried it was going to be a darker tan color, but it is more of a light sandy beige, or sandy off white. It brightens up the room and is fairly thick and plush. Great value for price.
